Light Up Lake Jackson Christmas Light Competition
CATEGORIES
The Light Up Lake Jackson committee knows that some healthy competition can inspire creativity. The committee will choose one winner from each category listed below. All entries will be invited to a special event where the winners will be announced. Each winner will receive a special gift to commemorate this year's event! You do not have to be direct lakefront to enter. Many of our neighbors on side streets connecting to lake Jackson, in the downtown areas or in surrounding business plazas have expressed interest in participating and we welcome you to do so! Our goal is to light up our whole area and spread as much Christmas cheer as possible!
Residential
The house that demonstrates the most Christmas cheer will be the category winner. So get out those lights and spread some cheer!
Commercial
We welcome the business community to join in the competitive spirit. Whether you are along U.S. 27 or near downtown, we are looking for a business to go all out with their decorations.
MULTI-FAMILY
High rises or low rises small to large are encouraged to enter. Themes and unique uses of space will receive additional points. Our apartments and condominiums are some of the most visible sites around Lake Jackson. So how will you make yours stand out? If you live in a residential home but would like to enter with a neighbor(s) using one common theme, this is your category!
Deck the Docks
If you live along Lake Jackson and have a dock, this is your chance to truly help light up the lake with lights and decorations. Extra points will be given to the decorated dock that has the cheeriest boat parade spectators!
